Psí hotel ChýněHome care with a garden

Terms of stay

In effect from 15 August 2026

Here it is in black and white what we agree on: what the stay costs, how payment works, what applies to cancellations, and what your dog needs to bring. It describes how the hotel actually works, not generic phrases.

Who provides the service

The stay is provided by Eva Jehlíková, Březová 244, 253 03 Chýně. You can call 606 225 414 or write to efkadacz@gmail.com. Business ID (IČO) of the operator: 73406155.

What the service covers

Dog boarding in a family house with a garden, with no kennels or cages. Your dog is part of the normal household routine: they have their own bed, go on walks, and keep the routine they are used to. We deliberately keep capacity small, caring for only a few dogs at a time.

How booking works

A booking is not created simply by submitting the form. The procedure is always the same:

  • You send a non-binding enquiry with dates and the number of dogs. The form immediately shows if there is availability for those dates.
  • We get back to you within 24 hours to confirm whether we can hold the dates.
  • Before the first stay we meet for a free meet-and-greet, get to know your dog, and fill out a handover protocol.
  • The booking becomes binding once we confirm the dates with you. From that moment the dates are yours and we no longer offer them to anyone else.

Prices

Prices are final and public. They apply to every 24 hours of the stay and we add no extra charges.

OptionPrice per 24 hours
Classic550 Kč
Premium650 Kč
Suite1 000 Kč
VIP1 500 Kč

For Suite, the listed price covers two dogs from one pack in a shared space. For all other options, the price is per single dog; a second dog during the same dates counts as an additional stay. The meet-and-greet is free.

How time is calculated

The stay runs in 24-hour periods from the moment you drop off your dog. If you pick them up a bit later, the first 120 minutes are not charged; for longer overruns another full day is charged. Drop-off and pick-up times are agreed in advance.

Payment

Payment is cashless, by bank transfer via a mobile banking app: half the amount upon dropping off your dog and the other half upon pick-up. Payment details will be sent when the booking is confirmed.

Cancellation

You can cancel a confirmed booking at any time, just call or write to us. Because we keep a small capacity, a late cancellation means a vacant spot we can no longer offer to someone else. Therefore, the following applies:

  • Cancellation more than 7 days before start: free of charge, you pay nothing.
  • Cancellation 7 days before start or later: 50 % of the total stay price.
  • No-show without notice: 100 % of the price for the first day of the stay.

If we ever have to cancel a stay ourselves, for example due to illness, we will inform you as soon as possible, refund everything you have paid so far, and help you find a replacement.

Drop-off and pick-up

Drop-off and pick-up times are agreed in advance and we stick to them. If you are delayed, please let us know. If your dog is not picked up within 24 hours after the agreed time and we cannot reach you, we will continue caring for them and charge the regular price for additional days.

What to bring for your dog

Without these, the stay either cannot start or will cost more than necessary:

  • vaccination card with a valid rabies vaccination
  • food for the entire stay that your dog is used to
  • their own bed or blanket so they have a familiar scent around
  • a leash and collar or harness
  • medication with a dosing schedule, if your dog takes any

If food runs out or is missing

Food is supplied by the dog owner. If you do not bring it or it runs short during the stay, we will buy extra and charge the actual purchase price with no markup. Sudden changes in food are not good for a dog, so this is an emergency solution, not standard practice.

Damage caused by a dog

The dog owner is responsible for any damage caused by their dog during the stay. This applies to home and garden equipment, items of other guests, as well as harm to the health of a person or another dog. We will calculate the damage based on actual repair or replacement costs and document it.

Dog health

We only accept dogs that are healthy and have a valid rabies vaccination. If your dog becomes unwell during the stay, we will contact you to agree on next steps. If we cannot reach you and the condition requires immediate care, we will take the dog to the vet ourselves. Veterinary costs are covered by the owner.

When we cannot accept a dog

We cannot accept a dog if they lack a valid rabies vaccination, show signs of illness or parasites, or are aggressive towards people or other dogs. This is for the safety of our other guests and ourselves. If this only becomes apparent upon drop-off, the booking is cancelled and the same rules apply as for cancellation 7 days before start or later.

Personal data

We handle data from the enquiry form according to our privacy policy. We share them with nobody and do not track you across the site.

Validity

These terms apply to bookings confirmed from the effective date stated above. If we change them, the changes do not apply to already confirmed stays. Individual arrangements can be made; anything agreed beyond these terms will be recorded in the handover protocol.
